A Little Bit About Me
I am currently a graduate student at the University of Southern Mississippi. My educational background is a BA in Sociology with a focus on international policies and a certificate in Community Economic Development, both completed at Simon Fraser University.
I have worked in a Canadian public library setting for the past 16 years and I am curious how libraries operate in different countries. During this adventure, I discovered public libraries are often referred to as "lending libraries".

The British Studies program is offered through the University of Southern Mississippi and it is taught in London, England. The classroom size was 16 dedicated scholars with a passion for literacy. In England, a masters degree is referred to as a post-graduate degree; therefore, the blog subtitle reflects one of the many lessons learned during this program.
